Birtdays and memories

My brother would have been 69 years old tomorrow, I know it will be a sad time for his family but I hope they can look back on all the good time they had with their father over the years and remember the good times and the laughter thro' their tears.
I would have received a phone call tomorrow from Richard telling me how he was younger than me and he probably would have tried to shave off a few years like he always did but I would have set him straight on the spot.
One of the more precious memories I have, and I have this on video, was in 1988 when my brother Clayton was entertaining us with one of the RICHARD stories, Clayton was 5 years younger than Richard and one day Clayton happen to be in the hardware while our brother was buying his hunting licence. They ask Richard how old he was and brother told them. Clayton said Richard had his age at least 5 years younger than Clayton was at that time.
Clayton assured us that he set the record straight then and there, Knowing how Richard was he probably was trying to get a response from Clayton which he did. Speaking of age and growing old, a persons memory slips at time, this brought me a pleasant surprise this morning, I awoke cold I had been sleeping under this one light quilt and after a while I decided to get up and seek another quilt. I went into the back bedroom and found a quilt I made 6 years ago that I had forgotten about and was pleasantly surprised with a new old pretty quilt.
Perhaps John McCain found a old new quilt on his bed this morning and if John forgets his age Obama will set the record stright.
