OK I watched the debate what I heard was this.. McCain said 3 times that Sarah Palin knew a lot about AUTISM referring to her new baby and his handicaps..It has been reported far and wide that The Palin baby has Downs syndrome. I don't know if McCain doesn't know the difference between Autism and Down syndrome or his old brain forgot the right word. Surly Sarah has told him the child suffers from Down syndrome.
The other thing I heard was McCain said Obama was running a dirty campaign.. Really?
McCain would have us believe he is Lilly white or at least white. Clean hands are white and if your hands are dirty they are black... right?
Autism is a brain development disorder that is characterized by impaired social interaction and communication, and restricted and repetitive behavior, all starting before a child is three years old.
Individuals with Down syndrome tend to have a lower than average cognitive ability, often ranging from mild to moderate developmental disabilities. A number have severe to profound mental disability.
There are 20 day left before the election and no more debates, no more free times to spew forth vile junk. I think McCain is short of money so I am sure he would like to have some town hall meeting.
The other thing that came out of the debate was Joe the plumber. Joe six pack is dead and Joe the plumber has been born. Plumbers are not very popular with the average home owner because plumbing cost are high. Maybe McCain better bring back ole Joe sixpack then we can all get drunk together and forget about the bad economical problems we are having.
A lot of talk about Taxes but we will soon be out of work and wont have to pay taxes.

Thank you for catching the autism part - since Sam is Autistic, my Cindy probably called about every third minute. She was so upset because her impression is that neither know the difference between Down Syndrome and Autism...they just use the words to touch people's heart strings
I watched highlights of the debate on the computer. My observation is that poor McCain is not a good listener. He would listen to Obama until he thought of a point to make and then his mind wandered off. You could see him lose focus. Obama looked at McCain seemed to listen to his entire conversation.
I hate to admit it but I like McC am not a good listener. My mind wanders to what I want to say and I lose focus on what the speaker is asying. I have been this way all my life. Often I butt into other's conversations without letting them finish.
I would much prefer a good listener and a younger president to an old one who is hardened by life's trials and bitter and full of hate at anyone who does not agree with him. I wonder if McC would be a different man if we had not sent him to the jungle and let him be captured by an enemy for a needless reason. I will say poor old McC what pitiful old man.
I thought it was definitely the best of the three debates and the moderator was the best also. McCain was obviously shaken several times and could not hide his emotions. Obama should win and award for staying cool and calm all this time. The comparison between the two is so obvious I just cannot see how someone could vote for McCain over Obama.
Patsy, It's me again. I thought McCain's jaw looked like it had an orange in it. It was obviously swollen. He is probably dying of cancer and would not last a year in office!
