Our pug dog has decided the porch is his place, no cats are allowed on his porch. I feed him on the porch and this morning he growled at the cats when they tried to come on the porch.
At about 12 o'clock I heard him barking and growling and I opened the door and there was my son Tony at the steps and pugsy was barking and growling at him. Tony said well this dog bite? I said I didn't think so but he might the way he is acting. I told the dog to stop and he did and let Tony climb the steps.
When we open the door he doesn't try to come in the house now so I guess he like the porch.

Pugsy looks like a happy dog. I guess he's feeling more secure and beginning to show his preferences. I've never known a pug to bite a person but there's always a first time. Tell Pugsy to go easy on the cats. They may turn on him one days. Thanks for posting the picture. I love seeing pugsy. Makes me want another pug.
I think he is going to like you and I can tell you like him. I hope he growls at all the folks and cats that come on your porch. No intruders. Maybe he will protect the chickens.
I think he has lost a little weight.

He is cute! Apparently he doubles as a watch dog too ;)
