bread making

do you ever make yeast buns? today daughter put in an order for buns. I was short of flour so I added two cups of dried potato flakes and 1 cup of oat meal to my flour which was about 6 cups. I added 4 eggs and forgot to add dried powder milk. I added my yeast which I had soften in warm sugar water.after adding 1 teaspoon of salt and 1/4 cup oil I added enough water to make a nice soft dough which I let set for two hours then I worked the sponge into a solid mound being careful to work the dough as I would any yeast bread. I then let it double in size then worked the dough and made into buns. after letting rise about 1/3 I baked the buns. They are so light they almost float off the pan.

Man, they sound so good. Wish I had one...they sound healthy too.

Sounds wonderful! I wish I could make buns. I am a novice at that kind of thing.
