I don't want to get rid of my big hens I just like bantams better. If I live I intend to cross the big hens with a bantam rooster in the spring and try to get a smaller chicken that lays pretty well and eats less. 5 brown eggs yesterday.
If I pass from this vale of tears Betty you can come and get some chickens because daughter wouldn't feed them.

Well, I hope that does not happen. I think I will order me a batch...as I really like them.I think I can have achicken yard and they will not fly out. Do you think they would fly out of a 4 foot fence>
