The Harrison shelter has this dog, his name is Chester. He would make a nice Christmas gift for some person. I can't believe some of the pure breed dogs that are showing up on these sites. How could a person loose such a beautiful dog?

Won't it be a hoot if a pure bred dog comes available from a shelter just in time for the Obama girls? No body will buy that story but here's proof of the fine animals that find themselves in shelters.
I found a big copperhead snake in my chicken pen this evening when I went to get my eggs. Yesterday I got NO brown eggs but tonight there were 3. I wonder if he was wanting an egg sandwich or a chicken one. He was big and I ran to the house and Larry came with the gun and got him. Glad he was not in my hen nests or I would have gotten bite. It was only about 50 degrees who would have thought a snake woudl be crawling around.
