religious right crowd makes me sick

The mission of the Christian Coalition is simple," says Pat Robertson. It is "to mobilize Christians -- one precinct at a time, one community at a time -- until once again we are the head and not the tail, and at the top rather than the bottom of our political system." Robertson predicts that "the Christian Coalition will be the most powerful political force in America by the end of this decade." And, "We have enough votes to run this country...and when the people say, 'We've had enough,' we're going to take over!"--Pat Robertson

Go ye into all the world preach the gospel, baptizing them in the name of the Father the Son and the Holy Ghost, Behold I am with you always, even until the end of the world, Amen. Even though Jesus is not here physical form, he is here in spiritual form, and will never leave us or forsake us.
“Jesus answered: “Watch out that no one deceives you. For many will come in my name, claiming, ‘I am the Christ,’ and will deceive many.” Matthew 24:4
Then saith he unto them, Render therefore unto Caesar the things which are Caesar's; and unto God the things that are God's.
It is Sunday morning and many Protestant religious leaders will be preaching the religious right gospel of Republican doctrine instead of the gospel of Jesus Christ in their pulpits today.
George w. Bush took this group to new heights during his reign and Sarah Palin and McCain tried to use these people to move them selves into power.
Anti abortion , homosexual rants and war against anyone who questions their right to rule.Pat Robertson and his crowd have been a agent of hate and have forgot that Jesus told them to do, go into the world and preach the good news that Jesus is the son of God and came to seek and save mankind.
I am sick of the religious right and their blood stained garments parading across our land trying to gain wealth and power by deceiving the people.
Make no mistake our government is not going to do the work of God either tho' the Democrats are in power. My hope is that they will do less evil.
So if you pray today pray that God will put love in your heart and make you and example to all people of the love of God.
Obey the laws of you government except if it tell you to worship the government and there you must draw the line. You can not worship money, power or some religious teaching, you are told to worship God.
George W. Bush, Sarah Palin, John maccin and Obama are not God, God is in heaven and we are his servants on this earth to preach the gospel to all mankind.Be not deceived God is not mocked what ever a man sews he shall also reap.

All religion seems to do is pit one man against another. Wars have been fought for centuries in the so called name of God. I feel the world world be alot better off without it at all.

I don't think religion and politics should mix. I have always heard that dogs eat grass when they have an upset stomach. Cats will do it, too. I hope Pugsy is not sick!

Pepper is right, religion pits one man against another.

Today I read in the paper Israeli police had arrested an Armenian Monk and a Greek Orthodox Monk in the Church of the Holy Sepulchere in Jerusalem. This is one of Christianity's holiest sites, occupied by 5 Christian groups and they fight like cats and dogs and have for thousands of years.

I've been fighting Christian fundamentalism in America since 1979 when Jerry Falwell organized the Moral Majority and led evangelicals to vote for Ronald Reagan, against Jimmy Carter.

In 1989 the Moral Majority merged with Pat Roberson's Christian Coalition. The leaders of that bunch are older than dirt now, some have died, others fell into moral disgrace. They don't have a strong young leader.

The desire for power and control is an awful thing. It's bad in politics and it's worse in religion.
