Rooster

I noticed yesterday the little rooster who is 3 years old has spurs growing so long that he is hobbled when he walks. I want to get out after dark and catch him on the roost and cut his spurs back.
Kelly came to visit and took one of our pumpkin pies home with him, Daughter was arguing with him so I made two more pumpkin pies. Kelly called later and said he would be back today to get another pie daughter has the door locked.
Fleta has her grandchildren this week end and is busy.

just called Pat and got to talk to Tony, one of my favorite people to talk to. He said, "Mom and kelly are into the chicken trading business and guess who is having to crawl into the GD pen and catch the chickens". I'll bet Kelly worked it out that way!

This is the old pond. There is no fence by the pond. I took the photo while standing on my front porch. The fence is the top wire of the fence along the road. I just looks like it is next to the pond because of the zoom on the camera.
