I went to get the eggs at 5pm and only got 7 but 4 were big brown eggs. One of my prize red hens got out the open door of the hen house and gave me a scare but I walked her around to the chicken pen open door and got her back in the pen.
My neighbor has been pulling Grass and giving them to my chickens, they have a nice pile of greens to eat today.
Fleta gave me some blue plastic to cover my windows and I managed to cover the hall way window and the door going into the bed room that we don't use, it was hard work for me and this is very disgusting for me because i have always been able to do any thing I wanted to do. Tomorrow I am going to cover the back door since we seldom use the back door in the winter. I will be living in a blue cave this winter.
I turned on the floor heating unit and set it on 65 that way Janet's room wont be so cold when she comes in at midnight. I keep the door closed to her rooms after she leaves for work and she was cold when she got home last night. Winter is here. I am longing for spring.
55 years ago my 8 year old cousin moved to settle with her family and went to school for the first time with blacks fact is having live in our hills all of her young life she had never seen a black person, she came home that after noon and told her mother that they played a game where the children held hands and she said you know mama the black doesn't rub off. I thought of Jerry when I read this on the net today.
