8 brown eggs yesterday from 6 hens! two of my hens are laying late in the day and I gathered the eggs to early the day before so yesterday I had 8 eggs surprise!
It rained all night and it is 54 degrees now at 7 o'clock. Wednesday is suppose to bring sleet and snow. Brr!
it is about time for me to buy propane again, I called the gas company and propane has gone down! I paid 2.40 for propane in October and yesterday it was 1.97 cent a gallon. I must get them out to fill the tank before it starts going up.

When I read the headline I knew it was going to be a story....Leave them out there 7 days and you can say..."40 brown eggs from only 6 hens...." Now that's a headline...

Well, my new hen nests have paid off...I got 5 brown eggs yesterday and only have 6 red hens. Gas was 1.35 at the flying j ..noticed on my way home. Propane may fall again.
