I made a Christmas roll yesterday now if i had sis's ham I would be set for the big day. It's a little warmer today only down to 20 degrees.
I lost my first winter chicken yesterday. I had noticed that one of the black bantams was sort of droopy and last night when I gathered the eggs she was dead.

The roll looks good. We are having ham for christmast.
When I went to bed it was 27 and when I got up this morning it was 31...weird weather.
My red hens laid 4 eggs yesterday in the cold. One bantie egg is all I got.
it is true....you will be getting lumps of coal in your stocking
you know there is no guarantee you won't end up with the ham
