When I was a child we would express extreme cold by saying "cold as a blue goose!"
It is 6 o'clock and that is how cold it is here. The temperature is going to rise to 21 degrees today. heat wave!
I put a pork roast in the oven to help heat the house.
I will have to carry hot water to the chickens this morning.
