The neighbor came to get her eggs. She knocked on my door a few weeks ago and wanted to know if I would sell her eggs. I gave her several flats of banty eggs over time and I had told her I would sell her my brown eggs when they started producing. That is why I called her yesterday. The lady paid me with Quarter and now I feel really bad like maybe I took her life savings. I am not cut out to be a business person!
I have been studying this chicken business and I have come to some conclusions for sister. Everything I read says after the first year the sexlink chickens don't produce as many eggs and so I think you should have some replacement pullets coming on every year and cull all your older hens after 2 years.

The only way you can get more is to order them...I guess I will in Feb. I will order the lower amt. and destroy the roosters as youcan tell right away which is which?
