cold

today is the day before my oldest son's birthday. he will be 49 years old. I must remember to call him tomorrow.

The governor of Illinois is a strange fellow, he had another news conference yesterday after he was impeached and quoted poetry again. It would be funny if it wasn't so sad.
Tho' much is taken, much abides; and though
We are not now that strength which in old days
Moved earth and heaven; that which we are, we are;
One equal temper of heroic hearts,
Made weak by time and fate, but strong in will
To strive, to seek, to find, and not to yield. Tennison

My daughter called from work last night and said she had bought some bacon and wanted bacon and biscuits for breakfast, the bread is in the oven and the pig is in the skillet.
