Don't worry Helen

I made it to feed and back and the chickens have enough feed so I won't have to go back for a while. I put Tyson gloves on my shoes and carried my mop stick to break trail. The only problem was I had to be careful and not step on the fingers when I walked.

The ice was sort of crusty and wasn't to bad after I got the porch and steps cleaned and now I can read for the rest of the day!! Helen said to send Janet and I said OMG she wouldn't know where the hen house was! Helen said you could stand at the door and holler and tell her, I said she would fall down and kill her self!

Patsy, Your ice storm hit here last night. We get the second round tonight. We have snow and ice and if we get it again tonight, I am afraid we will lose electricity, too. I hope you did not lose yours and that you are o.k. Please be careful going outside.

Oh Patsy - you do make me laugh - I had to take a second look when I saw you 'toes'.

Hope that snow soon clear. Just for once out weather has been milder than yours.

Keep warm my friend

Now there's an idea, putting gloves over your shoes! lol I do hope you didn't lose your power with that ice storm...it's been too darn frigid here to have any type of precipitation but not that we want any because we already have a few feet of snow on the ground!!

Stay safe when you go out!! xoxo

Be careful Sister. You are young in heart, but your body is old. It rained here all day and we got out at normal time. I think if it gets cold we will stay home tomorrow. Erin had to go to work. Her father in law came and got here and drove her. Other Granny came and stayed with Clayton.
