eggs

I collected 12 eggs yesterday. 6 large brown eggs and 6 bantam eggs . I am thinking seriously about selling all of my bantams this spring.
It is another warm morning and the wind has laid.

Banties aren't great on egg production. They sure are cute, though.

you will not like it if you get rid of them....You talk alot about your eggs but we know you are not in the chicken business for eggs..

It is 60 degrees here this morning. Strange weather to have been so cold and icy last week. Also, Australia is burning it seems from my friend there. It is very scary to me all this weird weather.

you do have a pretty rooster... I am dying my hair blond today. I bleached it yesterday....I hope it does not turn pink like Granny Gaddy's sometimes did...

Grandma Gaddy's sometimes was blue, too.

The chickens are pretty and i love the big red hens. Over spring break...we are building me a chicken yard so I can let mine out of the little pen.

I have set the 5 eggs like you suggested. yesteday I got 9 eggs 5 brown and 4 bantie.

I have to limit my number of bantams because I get so attached to them, they are so personable and so cute. If I am not careful they will all end up in the house with me, I mean after all, I already have Phoenix walking around in a chicken diaper in the house. ;) Selling eggs isnt going to make you much more than some spending money for yard sales or buying more chickens. I have learned that. I just sold all my guineas (couldnt take the noise anymore) and four roosters (had too many from last Springs hatch) and made 64 dollars off of it, but you know where it is going? The chicken shows I go to...lol. Remember, this is supposed to be fun. :) Hugs, Kelly
