shirts and suit coats

Andrew Card of the late Bush crowd says Obama is not being presidential by not wearing a suit coat in the office. The problem with going out on a limb someone will come along and saw it off with you on it.

Card continued, "I don't criticize Obama for his appearance, I do expect him to send the message that people who are going to be in the Oval Office should treat the office with the respect that it has earned over history."

Hi Patsy, Glad to know that you did not suffer from the ice storm too much. I am finally back in the land of the living and blogworld. It was 3 below zero here night before last and almost 60 degrees today. I am ready for it to stay warm. I missed your posts.

Most folks who wear a big suit coat...don't work very hard. That is the way the common folk view this. The minute a man starts to work hard, the first thing he will do is remove the big jacket. I think Mr. Card better look for some other reason to criticize...working hard is not a good one!

I read once Bush JR refused to let someone in the oval office because he only had on a white shirt and not a jacket....the man had to stand at the door to talk to him.......Perhaps that is why bush declared war, there was a misunderstand at the doorway and he did not hear someone correctly....
