today

It is 6 o'clock and the roosters are crowing. The temperature is 58 degrees. I have to hook up the water hose and fill up the water containers for the chickens as soon as day breaks.

Sammy is taking me to the library today and I hope I find something to read. Clayton is retiring again. I hope it takes this time.

Hope you found some good books Patsy! I am reading a good book called "Woodswoman" by Anne LaBastille. It is about a young ecologist's life in the log cabin she built herself in the Adirondack wilderness. It was in the 50s here today and supposed to snow before morning!!!
