Paul Harvey has died in Phoenix Arizona at the age of 90 years. I always listened to Harvey when he was on the radio. The last story I remember him telling was about Glenn Miller dieing in a brothel in France rather than dieing in a plan crash as it was reported at the time.
This is the Miller story as Paul Harvey reported it....
FRANKFURT: A mass-circulated German newspaper has reported that band leader Glenn Miller died in a Paris brothel and not in a World War II plane crash as officially reported.
I believe the brothel story because Paul Harvey told me so.
While we were in the great Ice storm I heard Paul Jr. doing a newscast and thought he isn't his father.
We have a rather lot of snow yesterday but because the ground was warm we only have about a inch to show for it. That is more than I wanted.

Paul was pro vietnam...and then he decided it was not the right thing and came out against that war on the radio in the days of Nixon. He was a conservative, but no one owned Paul Harvey...he was his own man.
