I feed pugsy every day, I just try to limit his food because he is very fat. I think the people who owned him before only feed him people food because he will eat anything that is from the table. I also think that is how he got lost. If a car is in the yard when they leave he tries to get in. I suppose the people who owned him always took him with them when they went in the car.
Pugsy has breathing problems and I think he needs to stay slim so I try to limit his food else he would eat all the time. Pugsy is greedy. I have to have water near him when he eats because he will take a bite or so then take a drink of water.
Pugsy has problems and that maybe why he was homeless, his owner made have dumped him. I hate to think people would do that. I would rather put a dog down than to dump him and leave him lost.
He is a real people dog when I am out side he runs and plays around me and when I go inside he stays on the porch waiting for me to come back out.

I think he will do better with less wt. but I know it is hard when he begs for food.
Patsy, thanks for your explanation, about your name being Poor. It reminded me of some of my cousins who always talked about events that happened when they lived on the poor farm. It was only about five years ago that I learned the man's name was Poor that owned the land, therefore they referred to it as living on the Poor farm. I heard it as living on the poor farm.
