first

The first flower of the year. It doesn't look like much but holds the hope for the spring growing season.

Sammy moved my chicken brooder yesterday. I told him I liked new ground for baby chickens and he said you don't need any more chickens! I said if I raise more than I need you can sell them, brooder moved!

I cut the tops off my onions and the old dead tall grass, maybe that will give the onions a running start.

Kelly called and woke me and ask Clayton's phone number, he ask me that every time he calls Clayton. he wanted to know how many eggs Clayton's incubator would hold, maybe I can get chickens from Kelly.

I have some tulips sticking up with green so I should have a few this year. If you have good tulip blooms here you need to plant new bulbs every year but I can't afford that so I will prize my few blooms.

Fleta has the growing bug, we will see if she grows any thing. That is all I know except it is 60 degrees and we have a hard wind blowing.

Hi Patsy, How pretty your little flower is! I am glad you found your spade. Thanks for coming over and visiting with me. Can you believe we have the same middle name and it is even spelled the same! It is supposed to be 75 here today. I think the weather here and there must be a lot alike. Then, tomorrow we have storms coming in and back to the 40s again. It has been so windy here, too, for several days.

I don't have the growing bug. But love to see those who do.

A beautiful sign of Spring. :) Its lovely Patsy. I woke up this morning to the sound of spring, heard that mockingbird singing its heart out. Hugs, Kelly
