I have 5 guineas eggs to put under a hen if one would go broody. I heard the guineas last evening about 5 pm but no sighting. they were two lots down from me. I checked my peonies bushes and 3 have buds. It is cool here this morning, 49 degrees.
I remember at home sometimes we used to find a Guinea egg and Mom would cook them ...as I remember the shell was hard to break, more so than a chicken egg...

Patsy, did you have a rooster guinea? Do they look different from a hen guinea?
