My fence is full of blooms that look like roses but actual these are blackberry blooms.

Blackberry vines are everywhere in Oregon. They're all along the roads and especially love bar-ditches. They're very hard to kill when you want to do something else with the land.

My daughter-in-law goes out on the highways to pick them. They're wonderful but I don't like picking them.

In Texas I tried to grow a blackberry vine and wasn't very successful but here you feel like they're taking over.

A cobbler sounds good! With vanilla ice cream. Yum yum.
