mid west snow storm

The forecast is saying the mid west is in for a major snow storm by Christmas day
The storm was likely to intensify by Thursday, bringing heavy snow, sleet and rain to a large swath of the Plains and the Midwest. A foot or two of snow was possible in some areas by Christmas Day. "It's an unusually large storm, even for the Plains," said Scott Whitmore, a National Weather Service meteorologist in Topeka, Kan.

I think we are going to be by passed by most of the snow but we could see some. My son said he hope we got 2 feet of snow! I told him he would change his mind because he lived in town last winter and it wouldn't be any fun out here on this hill. He doesn't realize that he will have to find a way to get Janet to work and back and by the time he clears me a path to the chicken pens he wont want any more snow.

It looked as if Kansas City would get hit so Winnie Jo better get ready.

I want snow here in the Kansas City area; however, I'll believe it when I see it. Right now it's raining steadily.
