I guess Good and Bad are subjective terms. To me, subjectively, Bad is having no power for a week. Bad is 10 people from the neighborhood working all day clearing the first 2 miles of road before anyone can get out for supplies. Bad is one neighbor walking the line for miles to find the break in the line so he can tell the power company where to go to make the repairs because everyone for miles in each direction has been without power for over a week and the power company has not had time to find the break in the line. That is my subjective point of view.

On the other hand, Bad could be when your son, husband, brother, downs in the creek and the body cannot be found. Then, you schedule a funeral and get ice and snow making it dangerous and more miserable than usual to bury your relative.

Today, for me, is good because I do not have to go to work and do not have to get out on the bad roads. It is not so good for Patsy or for the family of the young man that drowned in the creek this week.
