today

it was cool and crisp as I went to feed the hens this morn. They laid 13 eggs yesterday that is pretty good for 15 hens.
Tony has a birthday today. I saw his daughters mother-in-law in town yesterday and she said the kids were home. I guess they came for cake.
I am some what better. I may live yet but I thought for a week I was on my way out. it is scary to change a Bandage and see all your food you have eat pour out on the floor. I guess it had backed up in there for a week and what I was seeing was all that crap come out at once but I was afraid for a few days that my gut had busted wide open.
The neighbor boy borrowed my garden rake yesterday , I don't like to loan them any thing because in the past they never returned what ever they took so I said they could use it but to bring it back. When I went to feed this morning no rake so I went out on the back porch and yelled until the boy came to the door. I got him out of bed. I made him go get the rake and bring it to me. Told you I was feeling better!

I have about 20 hens and get 4 to 6 eggs a day. You have super hens is all I can say. They saw Sammy carry their sisters off to market and they know their place!

Keep an eye on that rake and your other garden tools as spring is on the way.
