This morning as the day was breaking I heard one of the hens give the" I laid an egg cackle". I suppose she wanted to get the heavy work over early.
My hens are laying 12 to 13 eggs a day.
It is 39 degrees and suppose to get up to 60 yahoooo!
I have been spending 3 hours out side every morning doing yard work and pottering around.
I am thinking about baby chicks and am planning more every day.

Glad you days are going well. As the year advances, I become more and more exhausted. Taking a day at a time.
I reported a family to state police for abuse and the grandmother is calling me at school. I told her I thought it was harassment. She has not called again, but probably will.
I told her I would call them next time too. But still all crap makes one mentally tired.

I can not even imagine all of the stuff you must have seen in all of your years of teaching....It just gets more and more worse...
