These are all the tulips that I have this year, Tulips have to be replanted ever 3 or 4 years or you lose them also Sammy does the mowing and he thinks if the mower will go over it, it needs mowing. he mowed down by my peonies yesterday and I thought he couldn't get close enough to mow them because they were up against the wooden rail, he did and mowed them all down except two.
The sun is out and we have the promise of a nice day.
That tin pen you see in the photo is my chick brooder, Sammy build it for me 3 season ago, He moves it with his pick up and it is the worse for wear, We had to do some repairs on it this spring and I doubt that it will survive another move, it has to be secure enough that a baby chick can not escape or the neighbors cat can reach in and grab a chick. I doubt that I will be here another spring any way.
The hens enjoy their greens and I have no problem finding enough for their breakfast.
The baby chicks are doing well and I have a setting hen that I am thinking about putting eggs under . I always want more chickens, it is just a human condition to want something besides what you have.

What is it with men mowing down flowers? This is why I do the mowing around my flowers and trees. If it was up to Cliff, there wouldn't be anything but grass in the entire yard.
