On this date in the year1956 my sister was born, she suffered with Downs syndrome and this morning she is in heaven singing with the angles.
Debbie Lee was 18 years younger than I am minus 1 day.
I have many good memories of Debbie but one of the stories I Cherish was told by my sister's daughter on her blog. She said when she was a young girl she rode to town with my dad and Debbie, on the way back in the lane to our house Daddy released the latch on his truck door and pretended he was falling out of the door much to Debbie delight. Laura said there was many words some that were profane shouted by Debbie as she tried to stop Daddy from falling out of the truck .

I also love that she called my Daddy "Big Man". I loved Debbie Lee. I have such a fondness for all the down syndrome children I serve and I know it is to her delight.
I am so sorry for your loss, Patsy.
I too love the little ones with Downs. Debbie first put a hole in my Daddy's heart and then she filled it up with love! What a blessing! What a gift from our God!
That is a funny story about Debbie and your Dad, Patsy. The video of little Hunter is so cute. I just love little babies and he is such a little doll. I heard about all the tornadoes in Arkansas and wanted to check on you this morning. I am glad you are o.k. We are having a lot of flooding here in Kentucky right now. My yard looks like a swimming pool. I hope you have a wonderful birthday tomorrow and many, many more! Love and hugs, Judy
