From saint to sinner

From saint to sinner in 6 short years, Mel Gibson the darling of the religious right has fallen from grace since he made his movie "the passion of the Christ" in 2004. A the time he was the BIG hero and now having been recorded making very nasty comments to his girl friend, Oksana Grigorieva he is raked over the coals in the media.
I never viewed the movie which was shown in the churches in our town, I talked to sister about the movie at the time and she said Mel's motive in making the movie was the almighty dollar.
I suspect his taped rant was the results of a drunken jealous rage of a old man with a young money grabbing girl friend which he couldn't keep up with any longer.
