I wanted a squirrel feeder like Larry's and this is what my nephew made me. I think it is to unsteady for a squirrel but maybe the birds will feed out of it. I think if the legs were gone and it was mounted in the walnut tree it would work as a squirrel feeder any way I have a feeder. he mounted the lid on the frame and screwed the jar on that. Don't know if that will work or not but I will leave it there for awhile.Friday, November 12, 2010

My old neighbor, Harold used to fix up different feeders for the squirrels. One time he made a double clothesline leading to a feeder in the middle. The squirrels had to run along the line to get to the feeder. We had so much fun watching those crazy squirrels try to balance and then fall off. Finally they mastered it and Harold had to think up a new one...Balisha
