I have sewed lettuce seeds 3 times and got very few plants. I decided to plant the other 4 tomatoes where i had tried to grow lettuce and found lots of sprouting seed as deep in the ground. the guineas have been dust bathing in there and keep covering the seeds.I put some were screens over the tomatoes hoping that would discourage them.
night before last just at day break I heard them scream and thought nothing about it but the neighbor found a lot of feathers in front of his car and I guess an owl had a feast. I only have 7 guineas now.
I saw where one had laid a egg on the chicken wire which they roost on. rotten guineas!

I think they are a lot prettier than sam's poor old sick looking chickns
I guess you are wishing you had not gotten into the guinea business.
