We had a late night last evening. Sammy took Janet to work and was to pick her up at 11 o'clock which was her 8 hours. He went and then she called and said she would have to work to 2 O'clock. He fell asleep and I stayed on watch when 12:30 arrived I woke him and told him he better go early just in case. She got off at 1 O'clock and he was there thanks to mom.
Since she found out that all she had to do to keep from working on sunday was sign a paper and she spread the word far and wide I am sure they were punshing her and made her stay 10 hours.
I have some beef short ribs and potatoes in the oven for dinner. I guess I am feeling better. I haven't cooked a meal in weeks.

I cooked a roast in the crockpot last night while I slept, and I'll make mashed potatoes and gravy to go with it for dinner. My rose bush is showing off too, as well as various colors of iris. Yesterday I ventured out to the garden to see how everything looked.
