Sammy's little setting hen has 13 Babs under her as of this morning. I wanted a dozen and we have 13.
Sam is going to the sale today, no telling what he will bring home. he is taking 3 roosters to sell if they are still buying. He wanted to sell some of the pullets but I said no. He has a standard size game hen and she is almost ready to start laying . He wanted to sell her but I told him she would be laying when all the others were setting. Then he wanted to sell all the hens that we not setting and I ask him how will you get eggs to set if you sell all the hens that are laying. he never considered that.
