Today is Saturday the beginning of the 4Th of July week end. Janet has to work today unless something changed last night.
I suppose Clayton will work the next 4 days. he is working in a beer joint stocking the cooler with beer.
we don't have plans just try to get threw the hot days.
Two more months of hot weather. I hope the air condition holds out. We have had to work on it every year it seems and so far not this year. I am waiting for the other shoe to drop.Sammy says the drought is destroying the tomatoes. He want to pick them green and put them on the porch to ripen. I threatened him with bodily harm if he did. They would just cook in the hot sun. I never under stood why people wanted to pick their tomatoes green.
The guinea hen may hatch any day now.

I only pick tomatoes green for fried green tomatoes. The ones we buy in the store have been picked green; it's the vine-ripening that sets home-grown tomatoes apart from store-bought ones.
Oh, for a vine ripe tomato .... I might steal it from my neighbor like Sister did the green beans.
My daughter will supply me. She always had jillions!
