caged the tomato plants

I put metal cages around my tomato plants

. I read that the brandywine tomato had to be staked or the fruit would rot if it touched the ground so I staked 11 of the tomato plants. my beans are blooming as well as the potatoes. The little rose I bought says it is hardy from 50 to 80 degrees. I don't know if it means that if it freezes it wont come back in the spring or just means it wont bloom if it gets above 80 or below 50 degrees.
