what happened?????

Arizona passed a  law in 2010 on immigration and the US government and Arizona have been in a fight ever since. The state wants to enforce their own laws on immigration because they say the federal government has failed to enforce the law and now Arizona is over run with illegal aliens.
The truth is back in 2006 the president George Bush signed a law that made it possible to build a fence along the border between California and Mexico.
This law or the fence was built and what it really did was to cause all the illegal aliens crossing the border to move on down the line to the state of Arizona.
Arizona became a funnel for alien crossing illegal into the US and then Arizona was over run with aliens.
Like most of the laws passed on immigration the secure fence law was flawed and then nothing was done to fix the problem.
Arizona passed their  own law in 2010 then the federal government yelled no! this is our job and you can't have our job.
Now the supreme court has said that parts of the Arizona immigration law is illegal and they couldn't decide on parts of the law being illegal or not.
So what happens now? more fighting will be done and little else. Mean while the state of Arizona has spent over 3 million dollars in court over the immigration law.

If Arizona had took that 3 million and sent it to Mexico to the aliens maybe they would have stayed home and the problem would have been solved.

George W. Bush, MBA, President of the United States, during the Oct. 26, 2006 signing of the "Secure Fence Act of 2006":
"I'm pleased that you all are here to witness the signature of the Secure Fence Act of 2006. This bill will help protect the American people. This bill will make our borders more secure. It is an important step toward immigration reform...
On Monday, the Supreme Court handed down a split decision on Arizona's 2010 immigration law. The court unanimously sustained the best-known part of the law, which requires state law enforcement officials to determine the immigration status of anyone they stop or arrest if there is reason to suspect that the individual might be an illegal immigrant. But it blocked the implementation of other provisions.

I love reading your blog - but don't get time to comment on each post. I learn so much not only about your lovely family, your life, and of course your chickens, but also your political country's politics, and laws etc which a lot of which I would never have known about otherwise as they don't print them all in our press.

Thank you for sharing
