INFORMATION FOR hELEN

If I could reach Helen I would knock her up beside the head,    she ask if there there was a difference in brand name aspirin in other speak was Bayer aspirin better ??some nurse told her that. ask the nurse how much Bayer  pays her to say that or is she just stupid??

  • Yes. Name brand costs more than generic.
But to elaborate a little, there are only three factories in the world that make all the aspirin therein. They all make it to exactly the same formula. The end product varies only in the name or number inscribed on the tablet. All the drug retailers simply relabel it for their brand. If you have arthritis or some other medical condition that requires you to take regular doses of aspirin, you can buy the cheapest store brand you can find, and it all works exactly the same.

OR you could go down to you daddy's pond gather willow leaves , put into a pot over an open fire and boil, baby boil.
Barking up the right tree: Though aspirin was born in Bayer's labs in 1897, juice extracted from the bark of the white willow tree had been used for pain and fevers as far back as the Romans. The willow in Latin is salix; its bark juice contains salicylic acid, which was much later synthesized by Felix Hoffmann into acetylsalicylic acid. Bayer originally sold the stuff as powder in bags.
