I have heard this several times on Youtube...But it still made me laugh again this morning. He was such a good actor and I guess even maybe a good man...I never remember hearing ANY dirt on him and that is something for as long as he was in the bizz. You know when he first started in the andy Griffith Mayberry show he also was to play a dumb southener....after the first episode or 2 the writters decided they need a straight man and so they made Andy it. It sure was an exceptional show.
The first time I heard this (1953) we had been married a year and listened to it on the radio. So funny and he certainly was a good soul!
