moonshine

MARSHALL, Ark. —
Authorities in Searcy County have arrested a 67-year-old Harriet woman for allegedly selling illegal moonshine.

Sheriff Kenny Cassell said Thursday an undercover deputy bought suspected moonshine at the residence of Edwina Pipkins. She's charged with bootlegging and making moonshine.
Deputies seized about 41 gallons of moonshine and gear allegedly used to produce the alcohol.
Cassell says the undercover deputy went to Pipkins' home in Harriet on Wednesday and bought two bottles of moonshine. The sheriff says Pipkins' price was $60 per gallon.
The Harrison Daily Times reports the seized materials and moonshine were placed in evidence and the sheriff says they're awaiting transport to the state Crime Laboratory in Little Rock for analysis.

I do know when we last stayed at the motorcycle resort down there, the group that kept me awake half the night while they chatted around the bonfire were talking about their moonshine. I wonder if she was their provider.
