up right tree and scofield

I don't know what the scofield bible has to say about slavery and can't look cause I don't have one. I think the bible neither promotes slavery or names it as wrong. The 2nd commandment says to love thy neighbor as thy self so you might consider ...would you make yourself a slave? the Bible doesn't say it is wrong or right. Where mentioned it is stated as a fact. I know it is wrong to make another human being a slave, how do I know? The same way I know it would be wrong to inflect pain or suffering on another human being
You might think about Canaan , the son of Ham. Ham looked on Noah who was naked and  passed out. Noah put a curse on his descents
You might ask why did he put the curse on only
Canaan the youngest son of Ham?
This curse of Noah against Canaan was used during the slavery time in our history as a way to justify slavery since most people believed the black skin on the African  singled him out as being a son of Canaan therefore it was permitted that the slave owner could make anyone with negro blood a slave. This was preached in the pulpits all over the south to justify slavery.
Another thing to think about why was what Ham did looking on Noah naked while Noah lay passed out drunk  wrong ?
The commandant says Honor thy father and mother, so some how he didn't honer Noah  even tho' Noah lay drunk as a skunk, perhaps he made fun of Noah or something at least he didn't honor him.

I found a note said see Scofield note Gen. 9.1 but since I don't own a scofield bible can't read it.

Inferior is the word Scofield used and that is what the black folks don't like. That is why they reject Scofield. Scofield fought for the Rebels during the Civil War...this could be a reason too!
