New chicks Sam bought at the sale. He paid a dollar a piece for them and that is much cheaper than ordering them. They are suppose to be Dominique I suppect they are barred rocks which is fine if they are because they are good chickens. we have 26 young chicks now and since they are straight run we will have 8 or 9 pullets to start laying late this fall.
