The rapture

    Acts 1:9-11
After he said this, he was taken up before their very eyes, and a cloud hid him from their sight.
They were looking intently up into the sky as he was going, when suddenly two men dressed in white stood beside them. "Men of Galilee," they said, "why do you stand here looking into the sky? This same Jesus, who has been taken from you into heaven, will come back in the same way you have seen him go into heaven." (NIV)
    1 Corinthians 15:51-52
Listen, I tell you a mystery: We will not all sleep, but we will all be changed— in a flash, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trumpet. For the trumpet will sound, the dead will be raised imperishable, and we will be changed. (NIV)
    1 Thessalonians 4:16-17
For the Lord himself will come down from heaven, with a loud command, with the voice of the archangel and with the trumpet call of God, and the dead in Christ will rise first. After that, we who are still alive and are left will be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the
Lord in the air. And so we will be with the Lord forever.

When I was young I believed I would be in the rapture  as the term used in relationship of the people alive when Christ returns  but as I grown older I decided it wasn't to be my fate but that I would go to my grave and I took great comfort in the fact when the trumpet sounds the dead in Christ would be first to rise.
Of late I am beginning to see world events moving in such a fast pace that I am again thinking about the rapture and perhaps I will be raptured  alive from this earth and caught up in the clouds to meet my Lord.
Look up people your deliverance draws near.
