They said Donnie had the strap[ and I am sure he was whipped with it more than anyone else. Donnie had a knack for getting in trouble.

Jimmy told me he got whipped with it often. He said he always hated school. Said the bus would have picked him up, but his father thought it best he walked over hell and high water to school. He said Donnie has the strap today.
Mom always said Truman got whipped more than all the rest....many a time he took the whippen for all the rest....it always made my Mom very sad
