Embroidery Mexican

My friend Yolanda brought this from Mexico 5 years ago. Her 75 year old mother made it. This woman lives in a very poor area in Mexico and has raised 12 children all of which live and work in the USA. I consider this a very precious gift. The work is very fine and the crochet has been hand sewed onto the cloth with tiny sticthes. The back of this cloth is just as neat as the front.

How beautiful - it will make a wonderful family heirloom.

I have a wonderful family heirloom. My aunt patsy crocheted a doily that I keep in the center of my coffee table.
