This is a baking dish made by a Mexican. The top comes off and there is room for a chicken or perhaps a small turkey. I never have used it to cook in because I think it is beautiful and I wouldn't want to break it. Can you imagine some one taking clay and paint and making something this pretty and consider the live they live. I have a dresser scarf tucked away some where that the mother of a friend made for me and sent to me from Mexico, by her daughter. It truly is beautiful , tomorrow I will hunt it up and take a picture for you.

More Mexican art

Oh, if I had something like that I would store eggs in it.
There are similar things over here that they use to store eggs
Sadly I haven't got one yet.
