I have a brother not by birth but by law and his name is George, he is my sister's husband. He is pure gold. When my father was stricken with cancer he gave up his career in the US army and move to AR. With my sister to care for my aged mother, my downs syndrome sister and my father.
he slipped into our life like a well worn pair of shoes. No job was to belittling or unimportant for George Aday.
We loved our father but at times he could be disagreeable and George went right on doing what had to be done or what we, daddy's daughters ,ask him to do.He lives with a Powell girl and gets along very well. Sometimes my sister can be diagreeable also.
I know with out a doubt if I need help I can call Fleta and she will send George and I know he will come. Sometimes we find gold when we think we have found just another common thing.
George is like a old suit of cloths, he wears well and is comfortable.

He also makes a wonderful uncle. In my short stint living in Green Forest he was always a phone call away to rescue me when I would get stuck in my own yard.
or rescue you when your truck battery mysteriously dies.
George used to do a lot of things for Mama. She never hesitated to call on him for help. Fleta may have heard a complaint from him about her but none of the rest of us ever has.
As a child I never had a father really or a mother and 3 years ago I met dad and mom and had instant family they have done more for me in three years then my family has done in my whole life mom and dad are the two greatest people I have ever known and I love them so and I also enjoy having the family I never had.
Jackie Aday...you made me cry.
George Aday went to Harrison to
help Baby when her truck died so
we would not have to drive up there. More important...he was
glad to do it.
