I gave all the new chicks to the one hen because the old yellow hen was not acting nice. she was a bully.

Did the new mother accept them readily?
I am glad you did like Solomon
in the Bible and gave the chicks
to the nice hen and not the old
batty one. I can see the nice
hen took all the chicks making
no difference in the adopted ones
and her own! Old Sister may have
to have a new name...Sister Solomon.
