Garage Sale

I saw a blog awhile ago telling about a add they saw in a newspaper, a women trying to give things away, one was a bed ,needs cleaning because small boy peed on it last night, another black sofa has some dog hair on it, another large coffee table with hole in middle, cost 500.00 new.
This reminded me of my sister who lives in Arizona. They had a lot of equipment that her husband didn't need any longer. Tools, electric table saws all things that men like.
She put a add in the newspaper that went something like this.
my husband is out of town for a week and I am selling all of his stuff, then she listed everything they wanted to sell with her phone number.
The phone rang off the wall , all men wanted to talk about her sale ,come the day of the sale the pick up trucks were parked around the block.
She sold out by noon. Made a great deal of money.

I remember I did have a ton of calls...one man called about 9 AM and everything was all ready sold...he still wanted to talk about the tools and was wanting to know when certain things sold and what I sold them for ...then he would cuss and say he wanted that! If anyone out there wants to meet a man advertise tools for sale! These were a lot of large items like Table saws and things but it all went quick and for the price I was asking. No one dared tried to get things lower because there were 10 men standing in line wanting it! I remember Mike set the prices and they were not like Garage sale prices just used tool prices which I guess it is hard to find used equiptment in good shape that is for sale.

Mike's tools would have looked just
like new...great real..those men found a bargain. An old Mike tool is a good one! It would have been used right and taken care of and maintained.
