SHOPPING

I was able to visit the Grand Canyon twice thanks to my younger sister, The first time I made the trip by my self flying to Arizona. The second time my daughter wanted to go we did ,of course we went to my sisters and she took us to see the sights.
This time we didn't rush and after seeing the canyon Helen rented a motel, this was a very nice place. We had two rooms and 3 beds. No slumming when you are with Helen.
They had a notice posted in the room and if something is posted I have to read it.
They listed everything they had in those two rooms ,2 TV's, iron board , iron, hair dryers, sheets, pillows cases ,coffee pots. The list went on and on with prices by each item. Then they wrote if you take any of these items we assume you meant to pay and you will be charged.
I thought it was funny to say the least and I pointed out the sign to Helen.
The next morning we were all ready to go and Helen was waiting for me because I walked slower than she did so she would give me a head start
Helen said are you ready to go, Pat? Bare in mind the bill was paid with Helen's credit card.
I said you go on I am going to do a little shopping! Helen said no way am I leaving you alone in this room! So I didn't get to shop in that motel. Posted by Picasa

ha! you could have always asked for extra towels. i don't think they are included on the list. there's no way they can keep track of all the extras they bring to your room. i love hotel towel's they are the perfect size to dry my hair. i have a nice selection.

Well Erin...don't go to a hotel with your Aunt Fleta...one time her and Pat stayed in a Motel and ther was a large sign on the door that said, "Do not slaughter game in the bathtub!" Now you know someone had done that or there would not have been a sign! I could not believe that one....You would not have wanted towels from there.
